Hi, I’m Kim Ardise – founder, Holmdel local, and proud owner of 61 Main Cafe & Boutique. What started as a simple dream became a heartfelt space for community, connection, and a little everyday magic. Located in the heart of downtown Holmdel, 61 Main blends a cozy café with a curated gifting boutique – a place where you can grab a coffee, find the perfect gift, and feel right at home.
This shop was built with intention, inspired by small business owners and the creative women who’ve paved the way before me. Every detail, from the pastries to the flower bundles, is selected with care. We hope you feel the love when you walk through our doors — because this isn’t just a business, it’s a family dream brought to life.
As a longtime Holmdel resident, small business supporter, and mom of three, Kim built 61 Main to be a space that reflects her values: thoughtfulness, community, and beauty in the everyday. Inspired by female entrepreneurs and creative makers, she dreamed of a shop that felt more like a local haven than a business – and brought it to life right in her own backyard.
What started as an investment quickly turned into something much more. Kim and her husband purchased the building at 61 Main Street with no set plan. After months of hands-on renovations (yes, she painted walls herself!) and a vision for something special, it became the heart of the café and boutique. A true labor of love, built for the community they call home.
61 Main was never just about coffee or gifts. It was about creating a place that helps busy people slow down. Here, you can check a few things off your list, discover something unexpected, and feel part of something local and meaningful. From real estate gifts and pastries to workshops and seasonal events, everything is chosen with care and curated to feel just right.
